Make Your Car Seat And Stroller Breathable With Meeno Babies – Holiday Gift Guide 2013

Save yourself and your little one the trouble of having to deal with sweating in that hot car the minute you get inside. Meeno Babies has the perfect liners for your car seats, strollers and even bucket seats. With a selection of colors to choose from you can have the best air flow under your child’s body so they don’t sweat in that hot car or on that hot day. I got the chance to review their Cool Me car seat liner and stroller liner and I love both of them. Although I had some issues in the beginning since I couldn’t understand the directions entirely, I tried to strap the liner on the wrong way and ended up having an issue with it. It kept sliding down on me and I couldn’t figure out how to get it to stay.

There is a strap that has to be attached to the velcro at the top of the liner and then wrapped over the top of the car seat and (they provide the tape velcro) attach the other piece of velcro to the back of the car seat. This was the part of the instructions I wasn’t reading correctly. I put my daughter in her seat and buckled her in however the tape of the velcro had slid down behind her neck which I did not notice. It snagged her hair and was pulling it. Not a pretty five minutes I must say. We finally got her hair out of the snag and pulled the velcro strap off. I reinstalled it the correct way after finally figuring it out myself and watching a video online (I feel like a dummy, it really is not that hard!). The liner does not slide at all and it’s so much easier on my daughter now that it stays in place after I place her in the seat.

Above is a photo of the day I received the liner so as you can see it is not properly installed. Make sure to install that velcro piece correctly to avoid pulling your little one’s hair! I felt awful that I had done it wrong. However I love the liner. It has so many benefits to it and below are just a few.

I picked the image up from their page to show the awesome abilities of the Cool Me liners. This really works. My daughter has gotten quite warm in the car (so have I!) and even though it’s cooling off rather fast outside it’s still benefiting her. She is still cool instead of sweating and it has a little bit of padding to give her added comfort.

 The stroller liner did not have the velcro attachment with it but it fits perfectly in our stroller. Even though my daughter may shift around in it the liner stays where it is perhaps because the buckles are through the holes holding it from going anywhere. Again a very nice liner to keep my daughter from sweating while out on walks in the hot sun or even in the cool weather that is here now. This liner may seem a little large for the stroller but it actually fits very nicely and gives added comfort for her while she’s sitting in it instead of being too small.

It does shift a little when she climbs out but it’s just the top part which is easily fixed. The texture is mesh like and you can feel the padding thickness by squeezing it. My little one enjoyed riding around with the liner in it. I must say she was excited to have something new to sit on. Many strollers don’t come with the padding your child’s little bottom needs!
