I have a thing for all natural products especially when it comes to those types of items that are filled with preservatives and unhealthy stuff for your body. Maple Grove Farms of Vermont has a select amount of delicious syrups, cooking mixes and even a box of pancake mix that are made with all natural ingredients. If you’re looking for the best syrup to put on your waffles, pancakes or crepes in the morning look no further! I had the chance to try out their variety of syrups and dressing and I’m excited to share my experience with you.
Although I did not have any of the pancake or baking mixes available in my area I managed to pick up a bundle of their syrup and dressing. Below are the products I had the delicious opportunity to try.
Boysenberry Syrup: This syrup is thin however it’s very rich in flavor. You can taste the boysenberries with a bit of a sugary taste. I liked this syrup more on waffles than I did on my pancakes. For some reason my pancakes seemed to suck this syrup up a lot faster than the waffles did. There are undertones of a sugary taste but the boysenberry hits your mouth immediately on the first bite.
Red Raspberry Syrup: My husband liked this one a lot more than the other one. I liked the other one more. We’re different I must say! This one was too rich for my taste. The raspberries are very strong however sugary and also thin like the Boysenberry Syrup. I’m very used to thick syrups but this was tasty nonetheless.
Sugar Free Maple Flavor Syrup: You can kind of tell there’s no sugar in this bottle of syrup. It’s still tasty and no where near being bland. I prefer to use this than any other kind of syrup to be honest. It’s low calorie, sugar free and it’s not that bad for you! It has a maple taste however you wouldn’t really notice that there wasn’t sugar in it. At first it tastes as though there is. It’s still yummy on my pancakes and waffles I must say.
Fat Free Honey Dijon Mustard: The texture is just as thick as any other dressing. It doesn’t have too much flavor to it other than the honey dijon mustard when you first bite into it. It’s delicious in small quantities on your salad. I liked the dressing however I was not a huge fan of the honey dijon. If you are, this is a great dressing for you! My husband took to this quite quickly. He prefers to use this on his salads.
Maple Grove Farms has so many other items to choose from to help liven your breakfast and other various foods. Why not take a gander at what they have to offer? They even have gluten free options.
