Stride Rite Makes Halloween Safe With Light Up Shoes!

By: Amanda1 Comment

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Stride Rite. I received products to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.

Recently Mr. C has been on a Star Wars kick. He brought home a huge Star Wars encyclopedia when he went to the library with daddy. They sit when they can in my son’s room and read a page or two before bed. He’s too young to see the movie but he has watched the Legos Star Wars and loved it. His Darth Vader costume is pretty impressive with the Darth Vader Stride Rite shoes to match.

Being a typical four-year-old he did not want to put on his cape for pictures however he was more than happy to show off his mask (and Darth Vader-like breathing) as well as his Halloween bucket. The shoes just make the outfit and he loves to wear them.

Although it’s blurry, I was able to snap a picture of Mr. C with his shoes lit up. You can also see the button on the shoes that when you press, the shoes breathe like Darth Vader. AWESOME. I had no clue they did that until I heard that sound one day and Mr. C demonstrated. Needless to say, he’s not allowed wearing them to school! You can also see the detail on the front of the shoe.

Caet is going as a princess ballerina or monster. We’re still not quite sure as she hasn’t really said what she wants to be. She’s wearing a cute shirt that has a ballerina body with a frilly pink skirt. She even has the ballerina pose, when she wants to. Here she’s trying to demonstrate the light up feature of the shoes and just plain acting like a goof.

In this picture she’s demonstrating how to light them up. “Watch me mom!” is what I constantly here before she jumps…off everywhere….stairs, the bed, the couch. She loves these shoes and they fit perfectly. I will be sure to see her when we are outside Trick or Treating.

To keep my kids safe this Halloween my kids will be wearing the light up Stride Rite shoes and we’ll be going with a group of friends and we’ll have flashlights. The more eyes we have on the kids the better! I can’t wait to see their shoes light up as they are running from house to house.

You can get in the Halloween spirit with Stride Rite shoes too!

Stride Rite shoes are getting in the Halloween spirit with fun themed shoes! They are offering themed shoes around some of the season’s hottest costumes like Spider-Man, Captain America, Star Wars, Disney Princess and Minnie Mouse, and with a breadth of brands including Stride Rite, Sperry Top-Sider, Keds, Saucony and Jessica Simpson, Stride Rite has the shoe to complement any costume.
