We’re part of the Banned Books Blog Hop brought to you by Bookhounds and I Am A Reader. I’m always a little mind blown when I see the titles of the books on the banned books list. To each his own when it comes to reading but to go as far as banning a title because you find it offensive is a bit much. With that in mind, I’m going to give you a gift card to Amazon or $10 PayPal Cash to purchase your own banned title!

The idea that someone would tell me what I can or can’t read is ridiculous. Just because someone finds a book not to their liking doesn’t mean It should be banned.

The entry to “go to our giveaway page” goes to your facebook page, not a giveaway page.

The more that I think about it, the sillier book bans seem. Now, I know this isn’t always the case, but it makes me think of a holier-than-thou person that gets slightly offended and decides that no one else should ever read something.

Choosing a book is a personal choice. You don’t want your children to read a specific book? Then supervise your children; don’t burn every copy in the state.

I completely agree! If it’s not for you then don’t read it.
