Whether you are having your first baby or your third, there is always the what to get/what do we need consideration and worry. Granted, it’s always more difficult the first time around. I know it was for me. I thought we needed all the baby things, haha. With my third, I was more confident if we needed to purchase some new things, and what we could live without. One thing I knew that I found a ton of uses for was muslin blankets. Margaux & May offers the best 100% organic blankets that you will adore.
One of the main reasons I love the Margaux & May is the size. Each blanket is 47” x 47”. Not only are the blankets large enough to properly swaddle babies, but they have so many other uses. I also love that this brand is 100% organic cotton. If I have a product on or around my baby as much as I do blankets, I want to know there isn’t anything harmful in them. The lightweight blankets stand up to many, many washes and get softer with time. And of the course the modern and bright designs are a bonus!
Margaux & May is a company that creates products for baby, but want mom to enjoy them as well. That’s the idea behind the modern and sophisticated designs on their blankets. The bold prints are fashion forward and are always in style.
Now, back to the versatility of these blankets! Clearly, swaddling your newborn is the first thing we all think of. I also use mine as bright and colorful backdrops for pictures. I’ve seen many moms using muslin blankets as nursing cover ups, as the lightweight fabric is breathable and baby doesn’t overheat. I’ve also used our blankets as a car seat cover, sunshield, changing mat, play mat, burp cloth and the kids use them as loveys because of the softness.
What types of designs do you like to see on your blankets, or does it not matter? Am I forgetting and uses for the multitasking muslin blankets? Keep an eye out for all new Margaux & May products on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
