I don’t know about you, but I take my Christmas (and anytime really) shopping pretty seriously. I’m not the gift giver that is ok settling with a gift card or a plain bath mat. I enjoy really searching for gifts that mean something to the recipient. Does it sometimes cause me frustration and struggle? Yes. But mostly, I am elated when whoever opens their gift from me and it is something special just for them. Now, saying this, it’s difficult to shop like this in just a couple of weeks. I shop months in advance of the holidays usually. When it comes to jewelry shopping, I stay away from the chain stores. I suggest shopping with Erin Pelicano so you know that each piece is handmade and as unique as your gift recipients.
If you remember from a previous post, Erin Pelicano is a former engineer that turned her hobby into a new inspired career. After making treasured pieces for family and friends, a new love was forged. She and her husband, along with their children, run the Erin Pelicano brand. Each piece is inspired, simple and sophisticated. I love that each piece is hand made here in the United States.
I received the Bliss Sterling Silver necklace. It’s a beautiful dainty 18” sterling beaded chain. The jewels are a hand hammered pendant and a tiny golden vermeil bead. The Bliss necklace was created to remind the wearer of her positive energy and bliss. Wearing this small daily reminder was easy. The first day I wore it, I received compliments right away. I loved that this necklace wasn’t a large obtrusive piece.
Erin Pelicano has so many beautiful designs. I know they will make perfect gifts for many friends and family. I also love the extra meaning behind each piece she creates. She also has a mother/child line, a celebrate line, men’s, does personalization and custom pieces as well. If you are looking for fine jewelry that is unique, made with love and hand created in the USA, then Erin Pelicano designs is for you!
