I don’t know about you, but when it comes to shoes, I am usually a creature of habit. For work I like plain pumps, usually in black or a muted color. I usually find my favorite type of shoe and try not to steer too far from my comfort zone. I have always felt plain shoes are more versatile and can be interchanged with many outfits. I was given the opportunity to stray from my comfort zone with White Mountain shoes. They have released their new fall line of boots, booties, clogs and so many more.
The website is extremely easy to navigate and you can narrow by color, size, and material and even if they are water resistant! I have to be honest; I originally narrowed by the color black. I had to check myself and try to break free of the category I’ve painted myself into. You know what else I enjoy? A nice glass of wine. So.. I chose the Mina Bordeaux Flat!
When I first opened them I thought they may be a little too purple for anything I’d wear them with. But, I was wrong! Dress pants, a little black skirt, black, khaki, green, they went with everything. Another thing I worry about with new shoes is wearing them in. Have no fear with the Mina. The first time I wore them; I was in a skirt and was really not in a hose mood. How is no sock, hose or even Band-Aids sound for a first time wear? Extremely soft and comfortable in fact.
Cliffs by White Mountain has an amazing fall line as well. I won’t hold you in suspense any longer. I chose the Roar Brown Leopard from the new styles. I went completely bold for me. My daughter was excited when I opened these. Not only are they a bold leopard print, but there is a kitty face on the toe. The face isn’t overly childish, but adds just enough whimsy to the hidden wedge. I hope my foray into trying something out of my comfort zone has convinced you to come take a look at all the gorgeous new designs that are offered for the autumn season.
