I plan on breast feeding my kids for the first few months but I am realistic. I know circumstances come up and I may not be able to breastfeed as long as I would like and I need bottles my little one will be comfortable drinking out of. Tommee Tippee has several products to help transition from breast to bottle including their Closer to Nature line. We’ve featured several products from Tommee Tippee to help you decide what’s best for your little one!
With Closer to Nature Feeding Bottles, switching between breast and bottle feeding becomes easier than ever before. We’ve designed the unique, easy-latch-on nipple shape with breastfeeding experts to mimic the natural flex, stretch and movement of mom’s breast. Together with the bottle’s super-sensitive Easi-Vent valve, this encourages your baby’s intuitive feeding action for comfortable, relaxed feeding.
1. A nipple designed to mimic mother’s breast
2. A sensitive valve
3. A silicone nipple that is soft and natural
4. Slow flowing nipple and an easy to hold bottle
Tommee Tippee also has insulated bottle pods that keep food warm or cool in between feedings. These are convenient for travel and a great way to take meals to your child’s daycare or to keep your drinks cold at work! The adjustable strap also attaches anywhere so if you’re leaving for the day to go to the park or zoo it will fit easily on your stroller.
I also received Closer to Nature breast pad starter pack. Even if you are not planning to breast feed you do need this in your arsenal when you are pregnant and post-part em. I’ve been out of the house when pregnant only to look down and notice my shirt’s wet..uhg. These days I can blame it on the two kids..you know they spilled something on me..sure…but the first go around it was a little embarrassing! But you know what? I’m pretty sure it happens to all pregnant women! The starter pack includes 36 disposable breast pads, two washable and one reusable bag to store them in. I wear the washable at home but when I’m out and about the disposable are very handy.
