There are so many things out there that inspire creativity, color, fun and playfulness. Children need that in their lives and Lazoo is there to provide it! From adorable outfits and articles of clothing to coloring and reading books that spark creativity and inspire kids, as well as apps. I had the opportunity to review one of their outfits and a coloring book. I’m very impressed! Maybe I was more excited than my daughter to get the items from Lazoo?
Lazoo was inspired by an internationally best-selling series of Japanese children’s books. Lazoo products embody the same core mission: to foster a child’s creative process, encourage self-expression and empower the imagination.
I have to admit I’m very proud to have these items for my daughter. I’ve always loved anything Japanese and these products are so adorably made. The fabric of the clothing is very well made right down to the little sequins on the shirt and the ruffles on the skort. Soft to the touch and brightly colored, the top and bottom are so cute when matched together or separately. The top is a tunic so it falls longer than regular t-shirts. It did cover the grey bow on the skort but it still looked darling!
I love this shirt on my little one. So vibrant and it embodied the girl she really is. The thickness of the shirt was perfect with the cool breeze when we went apple picking. She wasn’t chilled. Putting a jacket or a sweater on her did cause the shirt to show from underneath but it didn’t look too bad. I’m in love with this shirt. She’s probably had it on every week since I received it and most definitely will be wearing it through winter time!
The skort is thick. The band is stretchy so it will grow with my little girl until they simply can’t stretch any more. The shorts provide her movement and allow her to tumble and jump around like a normal toddler without exposing areas that should be covered! I picked a size larger than she normally wears, which is a 2T. Instead I chose a 3T so it wasn’t too small on her. The band is a little loose around her waist and tends to slip down just a bit when she’s really active. I’m sure when she grows a bit more it will fit more snug. She loves this skort so much that I randomly find her through out the day pulling them on and running around the house. My child is very random.
The coloring book is so much fun! I wasn’t expecting a coloring book to be this interactive. Each page asks the child to color in shapes, or a veggie, or even patterns and colors. I found myself flipping through the pages and trying to get my daughter to draw certain shapes. It has inspired her to draw anything that has come from her imagination which is awesome for a two-year-old. This has been her favorite coloring book to grab in the middle of the day to color and create. They even have a page with plates that ask the child to draw their favorite food or draw toppings for their spaghetti. Such a nifty way to inspire creativity in children! The pages are even thick and not flimsy somewhat like card stock but thinner.
You can purchase the top on Lazoo for $39.99, the skort for $36.99 and the coloring book for $12.95.
