My oldest is starting preschool and I have been searching for the perfect lunch box for him. I was excited at the opportunity to review the Go Green Lunch Box which are made in stylish designs and are phthalate free. Some of the designs available are Pacman set, peace sign set and aloha set. I love the Varsity Set design I received because it is perfect for my son.
Go Green Lunch Boxes are a lunch bag and a container all in one. The container fits perfectly inside the insulated bag and children can eat their lunch without ever removing the container, however, the container is completely removable. The container has five different compartments to fit your child’s lunch. It is very convenient that the Go Green Lunch Box also includes a stainless steel water bottle. The plastic container has four snap sides which I let my three and a half year old son attempt to open and close and he was able to do this with no trouble at all. The container includes a small lock you turn which keeps the food fresh and all of the compartments are leak proof. My favorite feature of the container is the two strings with added clasps attaching the lid to the bottom piece. The claps are removable if you do wish to remove the top but I will keep these clasps on (and not show my son how to open them).
The actual lunch bag is a heavy material that I know will withstand my very rough and active son. It has a zipper to close and also includes a rubber tag to write your child’s name and room number. Inside the top of the lunch bag, there is a mesh bag attached where I will include utensils and napkins. There is also a little erasable white board where you can write messages. I know I will be drawing hearts and smiley faces on this board daily.
Go Green Lunch Box has a school fundraising program to help eliminate the amount of waste produced from packed lunches. This program helps make Go Green Lunch Boxes available in your child’s school.
I am very pleased with the Go Green Lunch Box and the available features, but more importantly I am glad that my son loves it. It’s just another thing to add to the excitement of him starting preschool this September.
